Taste some of the great wines on offer at their vibrant cellar door. Wine Tasting is $3.00 per person and is available 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm. Visitors are welcome to browse among the many wine gifts and packs available for purchase. Also on offer are many paintings by Australia’s famous artist, Arthur Hamblin, whose works are sold both in Australia and overseas. His work depicts the very essence of outback Australia.

or those with a fascination with the wine making process, Witches Falls Winery gives visitors the opportunity to view a working winery on Tamborine Mountain first hand. Witches Falls sources premium fruit varieties predominantly from Queensland’s Granite Belt as well as other regions in Australia.

Witches Falls is a small, highly regarded winery. We source premium grapes from the Granite Belt to produce a select range of quality hand made Queensland wines. We are achieving some fantastic results. Over the past three years on the National Wine Show circuit we have been awarded 4 Trophies, 6 Gold medals and over 50 other medals for our wines including the top scoring Cabernet Sauvignon for our 2005 Prophecy Cabernet at the 2007 Rutherglen Wine Show.

Our philosophy is simple – to combine meticulous attention to detail, and innovation with the best of traditional winemaking practices to create exceptional varietal wines. ount Tamborine Winery was the first winery to establish in the Gold Coast Hinterland in the food & wine trail in 1990 by founder Roger Hart, and the Hart family has continued the tradition of growing, making and producing their own wines. It is now located in the heart of Tamborine’s famous Gallery Walk, is the hub and centre of exceptional local food and wine, and receives as much acclaim for their superb food as their award winning wines.

Our 2006 BLACK SHIRAZ won a Gold Medal at the 2007 Small Wine Makers Show In Stanthorpe! Our 2006 Black Shiraz has taken another Gold Medal at the 2007 The Courier-Mail and Sofitel Brisbane Queensland Wine Awards. We also won GOLD with our 2005 Tehembrin Merlot! Our 05 Black Shiraz, 07 Rose, 07 Unwooded Chardonnay, 05 Shiraz Cabernet all took Bronze Medals. Our Wine maker Jim Barnes won the overall Trophy for his Rooklyn Shiraz. The Gallery Walk Cellar Door outlet exclusively sells their award winning wines including the famous Tehembrin Merlot, Daisy Chardonnay, Chocolate Port, Show Reserve Muscat and their Ruby Port.

A visit to Heritage Wines, Mount Tamborine is a visit to a by-gone era, as it is well known as the most elegant Winery in the Hinterland.

The building was originally the Infant Saviour Catholic Church of Burleigh Heads, saved from demolition and re-located to Mount Tamborine. The building was meticulously taken apart piece by piece, than lovingly restored in the Gold Coast Hinterland. To add further grandeur to the elegant surrounds a sweeping staircase was added, leading to a mezzanine floor which is home to more restaurant seating.

Since 1998 Heritage wines have won over 76 medals for a wide variety of wines. More recently: Our 2007 Reserve Chardonnay , 2006 Botrytis Chardonnay, , 2008 Sem Sauv Blanc, 2007 Merlot, 2007 Cabernet, 2007 Verdelho and reserve Tawny are all medal winners that can be tasted at the cellar door in Spring 2008.
